Pedrew Investments Limited (PIL) is looking for a mature, responsible, and reliable to Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. To also assist with transportation of authorized personnel. S/he will represent our company in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• To deliver wide variety of items to different locations and through different routes.
• To assist with transportation of authorized personnel.
• Maintain an official logbook of all trips undertaken, clearly outline and check the daily mileage, fuel consumption, oil change, grease, battery, and brakes.
• Ensure that the vehicle in your custody is always clean.
• Deliver all goods on time and intact as per goods dispatch note.
• Facilitate the signing off all the goods received notes and invoices by the customers.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Should be able to communicate politely with clients and members of staff.
• May be requested to assist conduct sales in remote locations.
• Inform customers about new products and services.
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow and adhere to RTSA regulations and safety standards.

Requirements and skills

• Full Grade 12 certificate.
• 3 years proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid professional driver’s license preferably class C.
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations
• Proficient in English language.

Key attributes

• Must have excellent customer service, good communication skills and judgement skills.
• Should have superb visual and audio abilities and must be in good physical condition to manage the loading and offloading goods from the delivery trucks.
• Must be honest as the role may involve coordinating sales in remote locations.
• Must always look clean and smart.
