The Merchandisers shall produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives.
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
• Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
• Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
• Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
• Remain up to date with industry’s best practices.

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• A full grade 12 certificate.
• A Certificate in Agriculture from a recognized learning institutions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising is required.
• Experience in merchandising with farmers will be an added advantage.
• Excellent time and task management skills.
• Attention to detail especially with numerical data.
• Sound communication skills for work efficiency and effectiveness.
